san francisco!

phase one complete! we reached san francisco.

it was actually an easy day. only about 200 miles of more beautiful 101, with amazing forests whipping by at 70mph. it didn’t even get that hot coming through santa rosa and that area (last year it was boiling).

we got into the city at around 12:30 and, after a lovely detour thanks to some construction, reached my hotel. dad and i had lunch, he went off to his hotel in berkeley, and i went off to put on my manager’s hat. the rest of the weekend will be devoted to hurling.

and with that, i will sign off until at least monday (possibly tuesday). i will be hurling like crazy, and hopefully i will update with pictures of a cup! that would be a championship cup, by the way.

up the gaels!

rftc,

scott

  1. You found the actual photo spot you bastard. Well it looks good, best of luck in the tourney. See you in a few weeks.

  2. actually not the one we were looking for, that one is only accessible from the northbound lanes. this exit was closed last year when we were going through. almost as foggy, though.
